Bio
Dr. Vincent Chavanon is a board-certified and fellowship-trained plastic and reconstructive surgeon at the Orlando Health Aesthetic and Reconstructive Surgery Institute. Before joining Orlando Health, Dr. Chavanon served as the chief of plastic surgery at Palm Beach Children's Hospital at St. Mary's Medical Center. He is skilled in a variety of procedures, including:

- Lower-extremity reconstruction

Dr. Chavanon appreciates the value in solving complicated health problems. He blends his technical skill with artistry to ensure his plastic and reconstructive surgery patients achieve the best results. He also knows that each patient has their own unique struggles, so he takes care to understand their specific needs so they can feel heard and respected.
Dr. Chavanon’s Training
Dr. Chavanon earned his medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. He completed a plastic surgery residency at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York and was chief resident during his final year. He followed that with a hand surgery fellowship at the University of Miami Health System.
Dr. Chavanon also graduated magna cum laude when he earned his bachelor’s degree in biology and community health from Tufts University in Medford, Massachusetts.
About Dr. Chavanon
Dr. Chavanon is certified with the American Board of Plastic Surgery and is a clinical affiliate assistant professor of plastic surgery at the Charles E. Schmidt College of Medicine at Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton. He is affiliated with the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the American Society for Surgery of the Hand.
Dr. Chavanon’s medical research has been published in Molecular Genetics and Metabolism, Journal of Clinical Orthopaedics and Trauma and Surgical Sciences Journal
Outside of work, Dr. Chavanon enjoys running marathons, cycling, hiking, aviation, scuba diving, fishing and hunting. He is fluent in English and French.
