Bio
Dr. Wei-Shen Chin is a board-certified diagnostic radiologist with Orlando Health Medical Group Radiology. He has been treating patients in Central Florida for 31 years and during that time has served as chairman of the radiology department and chief of oncologic imaging at Orlando Health UF Health Cancer Center. His specialties include:
- Liver and pancreatic imaging
- Prostate MRI scans
- PET/CT imaging
Dr. Chin’s Training
Dr. Chin received his medical degree from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland and then completed a radiology residency at University Hospitals of Cleveland, where the radiology department chair was endowed and named in his honor in 2020. He graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Case Western Reserve University.
About Dr. Chin
Dr. Chin is certified in diagnostic radiology with the American Board of Radiology. He received the Top Doctor designation from Orlando Magazine and has been featured in the Orlando Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 list. He also has been a member of Orlando Ballet's volunteer medical team for 22 years. He continues to conduct research on artificial intelligence and its applications in imaging.

Patients that are treated in outpatient or hospital environments may receive different surveys, and the volume of responses will vary by question.
Responses are measured on a scale of 1 to 5, with 5 being the best score.
The comments are submitted by patients and reflect their views and opinions. The comments are not endorsed by and do not necessarily reflect the views of Orlando Health.
Ratings may not be present for certain physicians of Orlando Health Physician Group and Orlando Health Physician Associates because:
- The physician has not yet met the minimum number of 30 patient satisfaction surveys to be eligible for display.
- They may be a researcher or type of provider that does not see patients.
- They may practice in a specialty or office that has not yet implemented the specified surveys used for these ratings.
