Bio
Dr. Yuanbin Chen is a board-certified medical oncologist with Orlando Health Cancer Institute. His specialties include:
- Melanoma and other skin cancers

Dr. Chen believes in working closely with each patient to tailor their treatment plan to their personal need and the unique biology of the cancer.
Dr. Chen’s Training
Dr. Chen received his medical training from Sun Yat-sen University of Medical Sciences in Guangzhou, China, and earned a doctorate in molecular biology and cancer biology from Loyola University in Chicago, Illinois. He also completed an internal medicine residency at Montefiore Medical Center in Bronx, New York, and a medical oncology fellowship at the National Institutes of Health/National Cancer Institute in Bethesda, Maryland.
About Dr. Chen
Dr. Chen is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, with a subspecialty in medical oncology. His professional memberships include the American Association for Cancer Research, American Society of Clinical Oncology and International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer.
Dr. Chen has led numerous international clinical trials for lung cancer and melanoma leading to advancement of current treatments. His clinical research been published in prestigious medical journals including the New England Journal of Medicine and The Lancet.
Outside of work, Dr. Chen enjoys tennis.
He is fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese.

Patients that are treated in outpatient or hospital environments may receive different surveys, and the volume of responses will vary by question.
