Phillips Hospital, Orlando Health – Health Central Hospital, Orlando Health Orlando Regional Medical Center, Orlando Health South Lake Hospital, Orlando Health South Seminole Hospital and Bayfront Health St. Petersburg as 2022-2023 High Performing hospitals in a total of twelve categories. In the U.S. News & World Report 2022-2023 regional ranking of hospitals, Orlando Health also ranked #8 in Florida and #2 in the Orlando Metro Area.

• Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children Named a “Best Children’s Hospital” in 3 Specialties

  Orlando, FL (June 18, 2019) – U.S. News & World Report, the global authority in hospital rankings and consumer advice, has ranked Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children in its 2019-2020 Best Children’s Hospitals rankings published online today. The hospital was awarded with designations in three pediatric specialties.

• Bayfront Health St. Petersburg Joins the Orlando Health Family

  St. Petersburg, FL (October 1, 2020) – Bayfront Health St. Petersburg is now officially part of Orlando Health Inc. Orlando Health, a private, not-for-profit healthcare organization headquartered in Central Florida, officially closed on the hospital purchase from Community Health Systems (CHS) on Wednesday, September 30. The City of St. Petersburg, which owns the land that the hospital sits on, approved transferring the lease to Orlando Health in July. 

• Annette Seabrook, MPT, MHA, FACHE named President of new Orlando Health freestanding rehabilitation institute

  Orlando, FL (September 20, 2022) – Annette Seabrook, MPT, MHA, FACHE has been named president of Orlando Health’s new freestanding inpatient rehabilitation institute. Located on the Orlando Health – Health Central Hospital campus, the 54-bed inpatient facility will provide a full range of advanced rehabilitation services and will specialize in care for patients suffering from complex neurological conditions.

• Orlando Health – Health Central Hospital Opens New Walking Path

  Ocoee, FL (January 26, 2024) – Orlando Health – Health Central Hospital would like to welcome the community to a new walking path located on campus. Orlando Health administrators, as well as local government and community leaders, held a ribbon cutting on site earlier this week to officially open the trail.
