We are deeply saddened to hear reports that Arnold Palmer has passed away. Mr. Palmer lived an incredible life and accomplished so much on and off the golf course. He built a world-class medical center that has had a tremendous impact on the lives of children and families in this community for more than 27 years. (October 19, 2016) –This morning, UF Health Cancer Center – Orlando Health celebrated National Breast Cancer Awareness Month with its annual Hope Hike from Orlando City Hall, where Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer, Orlando City Commissioner Patty Sheehan and other elected officials proclaimed October as Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Hundreds of Hope Hikers then walked the 1.2 miles down Orange Avenue to UF Health Cancer Center – Orlando Health.

Ballet offers a new routine for children with special needs
Young children with special needs learned ballet positions to pirouette and plié their way to new opportunities to move and express themselves through dance. Orlando Ballet company dancers were en pointe with an innovative program to provide dance lessons to children with physical challenges. Orlando Health team members worked with the dancers to provide helpful tips and instruction for choreography.
