The designation recognizes the hospitals’ efforts in protecting patients from harm and meeting the highest safety standards in the United States.

Orlando Health South Lake Hospital Receives 11th Consecutive ‘A’ Grade for Patient Safety
Orlando, FL (Nov. 6, 2023) – Orlando Health South Lake Hospital has earned its 11th consecutive ‘A’ grade from the Leapfrog Group, an independent nonprofit organization committed to driving quality, safety and transparency in the U.S. health system. Orlando Health Orlando Regional Medical Center (ORMC), Orlando Health Dr. P. Phillips Hospital, Orlando Health – Health Central Hospital and Orlando Health South Seminole Hospital also earned ‘A’ grades for patient safety in the fall 2023 reporting period. This marks the fifth ‘A’ grade in a row for Orlando Health ORMC and Orlando Health Dr. P. Phillips.

Orlando Health Advanced Rehabilitation Institute now offering free community exercise classes for Parkinson’s patients
Orlando, FL (September 20, 2023) – Local patients diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease now have access to free fitness classes tailored to their medical needs, thanks to the Orlando Health Advanced Rehabilitation Institute and grant funding from the Parkinson Association of Central Florida. Patients do not need a physician referral to join the classes.
