    Orlando, FL (July 22, 2025) – This week, Orlando Health Air Care officially launched its newest aircraft: a larger, specialized helicopter to transport critically ill children and adults. When it comes to emergencies, every second counts. This new helicopter’s larger size and specialized design enhances the ability to quickly transport both children and adults to Central Florida’s only Level One Trauma Center: Orlando Health Orlando Regional Medical Center (ORMC) along with Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children. The new Airbus H145D3 is now the fifth aircraft in Orlando Health’s helicopter ambulance fleet.

    Wesley Chapel, FL (May 7, 2025) – Orlando Health’s new Pasco County hospital will officially open as Florida Medical Clinic Orlando Health Wiregrass Ranch Hospital in 2026. Physicians and executives recently toured the hospital to get a first-hand look at the construction progress and learn more about the facility’s benefits for physicians and patients. “Florida Medical Clinic Orlando Health Wiregrass Ranch Hospital will be a significant asset to the folks in and around Wesley Chapel and Northern Hillsborough County,” said the hospital’s president and Chief Executive Officer of Florida Medical Clinic Orlando Health, Joe Delatorre. “This state-of-the-art facility will bring high quality care, incredibly advanced technology, and expand access to talented physicians across the Tampa Bay community.
