• Orlando Health rebrands imaging centers

  Orlando, FL (September 6, 2016) – The name Orlando Health Imaging Centers is now official. Today the Altamonte Springs facility, formerly known as Boston Diagnostic Imaging, became the first of five facilities to welcome new temporary exterior signage bearing the Orlando Health moniker. Permanent signage is expected to be installed throughout September. Orlando Health and Medical Center Radiology Group (MCRG) formed a company to purchase the outpatient imaging centers in December 2014 and have devoted the past 18 months to integrating them into the Orlando Health network.

• Boston Diagnostic Imaging-Orlando earns reaccreditation

  Orlando, FL (April 8, 2016) – Boston Diagnostic Imaging – Orlando has been reaccredited by the American College of Radiology. The center, which resumed its mammography program in January, has been operating under interim certification. The accreditation of the Orange Avenue facility’s program comes after extensive process and procedural improvements. Changes include equipment upgrades, the addition of several new board certified radiologists, enhanced training for technologists, and new quality assurance reviews and oversight.

• Orlando Health expands imaging service in Ocoee

  Orlando, FL (October 12, 2020) – Orlando Health has opened a new consolidated and expanded imaging center in Ocoee, which will enhance access to world-class specialized diagnostic imaging for those living in West Orange County and the nearby communities. The Orlando Health Imaging Centers – Ocoee officially opens to the public on Oct. 19.

• New Orlando Health Imaging Centers to open on South Orange Avenue

  Orlando, FL (July 31, 2020) – A modern 7,520-square-foot specialized diagnostic imaging center will soon be accessible to residents of downtown Orlando and the surrounding areas when the Orlando Health Imaging Centers – South Orange opens its doors this Wednesday, August 5.

• Bayfront Health St. Petersburg Joins the Orlando Health Family

  St. Petersburg, FL (October 1, 2020) – Bayfront Health St. Petersburg is now officially part of Orlando Health Inc. Orlando Health, a private, not-for-profit healthcare organization headquartered in Central Florida, officially closed on the hospital purchase from Community Health Systems (CHS) on Wednesday, September 30. The City of St. Petersburg, which owns the land that the hospital sits on, approved transferring the lease to Orlando Health in July. 

• Annette Seabrook, MPT, MHA, FACHE named President of new Orlando Health freestanding rehabilitation institute

  Orlando, FL (September 20, 2022) – Annette Seabrook, MPT, MHA, FACHE has been named president of Orlando Health’s new freestanding inpatient rehabilitation institute. Located on the Orlando Health – Health Central Hospital campus, the 54-bed inpatient facility will provide a full range of advanced rehabilitation services and will specialize in care for patients suffering from complex neurological conditions.

• Dr. Phillips, Inc. Unveils New Senior Living and Health Care Campus

  Orlando, FL - With construction now underway, Dr. Phillips, Inc. this week will unveil much-anticipated details about its Spring Lake Health and Living Campus on 26 acres in the heart of the Dr. Phillips neighborhood. Orlando Health administrators, as well as local government and community leaders, held a ribbon cutting on site earlier this week to officially open the trail.
