  • New Orlando Health Emergency Room and Medical Pavilion Unveiled at Osceola’s 2017 State of the County Address

    Kissimmee, FL (April 25, 2017)  – Osceola County and Tupperware Brands are working in conjunction with Orlando Health to bring a new emergency room and medical pavilion to the community, officials announced today during Osceola’s 2017 State of the County Address. The $32 million, 13-acre project will be located in Osceola County Commissioner Viviana Janer’s district on the northwest corner of Orange Avenue and Osceola Parkway; property that is part of Tupperware Brands’ Osceola Corporate Center.

  • The Level One Trauma Center at Orlando Health Orlando Regional Medical Center (ORMC) receives verification from the American College of Surgeons

    Orlando, FL (May 31, 2019) –The Level One Trauma Center at Orlando Health Orlando Regional Medical Center (ORMC) has been verified as a Level I trauma center by the Verification Review Committee, an ad hoc committee of the Committee on Trauma of the American College of Surgeons. The achievement recognizes the trauma center's dedication to providing optimal care for injured patients.

In her new role, Rachna will be responsible for driving operational performance and executing strategic initiatives for the Orlando Health flagship medical center and home to the area’s only Level One Trauma Center.

In his new role, Dr. Hunter will work with leadership and medical staff to develop and implement organizational quality initiatives to achieve desired metrics and patient safety outcomes. Dr. Hunter will support activities, processes, and policies to continue high quality patient care, driven by system-wide clinical practices and standards. He will also support the development and adoption of organizational strategies to enhance the culture of quality and safety.
