Orlando is much more than beautiful weather, tourists, and theme parks. We have a growing arts scene and a new state-of-the-art performing arts center. We have professional sports teams with multiple sporting venues. The natural beauty of Florida cannot be compared. We are surrounded by numerous lakes, fresh-water springs, and biking/hiking trails. Orlando is 90 minutes from our closest beach.

  • Residency Wellness Committee

The Orlando Health General Surgery Residency Wellness Committee is dedicated to fostering a culture of holistic well-being for our residents-supporting physical, emotional, occupational, financial, and spiritual wellness. Our mission is to empower residents to thrive both personally and professionally through initiatives that promote mindfulness, resilience, and community. We strive to create an environment that nurtures mental strength, encourages team camaraderie, and cultivates healthy lifestyles without adding stress to the demands of residency. Through group activities, volunteer opportunities, and educational initiatives, we provide a supportive framework that strengthens social bonds and builds a foundation for lifelong wellness. By championing well-being in all its forms, we aim to develop compassionate, balanced, and resilient leaders-better surgeons for our patients, and better stewards of our community.
