Curriculum
PGY-I Grants exposure to services helpful in preparing a foundation for a well-rounded orthopedic surgeon. Rotations outside of orthopedics includes one-month blocks in general surgical trauma, plastic surgery, infectious diseases, burns/ICU, vascular surgery and neurosurgery. For the orthopedic services rotation, four months are on our general orthopedic green and gold services. These teams consist primarily of orthopedic trauma along with adult joint reconstruction, sports, and foot and ankle components. Each intern also spends one month during the first half of the year on the orthopedic trauma night float service alongside a third-year teaching resident, followed by another month of night float in the winter/spring.

It is an ASHP-accredited one-year post-graduate training program designed to develop essential knowledge and skills for contemporary health-system pharmacy. PGY-1 Pharmacy Residency - OHDPH
The ASHP-accredited PGY-1 pharmacy residency program at Orlando Health Dr. P. Phillips Hospital (OHDPH) is a one-year post-graduate training program availability for one (1) resident. We are excited about what our residency program has to offer and seek a resident who is committed to take this next step in their career. The residency will prepare the resident to become a confident clinician for contemporary pharmacy practice. The resident activities will include active participation in multidisciplinary teams with established clinical pharmacy services and longitudinal activities.

Residency and Fellowships
Our Fellowship Programs allow fellows to participate in diagnosis and treatment within their area of focus. Many of our residents have presented their clinical and basic science research studies at national and international meetings. In addition, we have several active clinical trials.
