  • Principle Teaching Methods

    Supervised Direct Patient Care Rounds: Fellows will be involved in initial consultations/ Triage/ admission and subsequent care of patients presenting to ORMC Emergency Room or admitted to ORMC. All fellows are supervised and staffed by full-time faculty pulmonary or critical care specialists.

  • S. Ahsan Rizvi, MD

    Dr. Rizvi earned his medical degree from Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia. He completed his residency at the University of Florida at Gainesville. His clinical interests include IBD, EOE, hepatology, functional abdominal pain disorders and mast cell-related disorders. He is currently working on research projects in eosinophil esophagitis and irritable bowel syndrome.

  • Ahmad Abu Sulb, MD

    Ahmad was born and raised in Amman and attended medical school at the University of Jordan. Following medical school, Ahmad joined the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston for his pediatric residency training. Areas of interest include general pediatric gastroenterology conditions, inflammatory bowel disease, and obesity.  In his free time he enjoys hiking, cooking, and visiting the theme parks here in Orlando.

    Dr. Fernandez earned her medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine in Miramar, Florida. She completed her residency at Atrium Health Navicent in Macon, Georgia. She chose the fellowship program because of the learning opportunities and physicians. “You will finish fellowship not only being a great pediatric gastroenterologist, but also a skillful endoscopist. Our group becomes your second family, which you can’t find everywhere.”
