  • New President of Health Central Hospital Announced

    Mark Marsh is the new senior vice president of Orlando Health, and president, Health Central Hospital. He brings the experience and expertise of a 23-year career in healthcare leadership, most recently serving as chief executive officer of Gateway Medical Center in Clarksville, Tennessee. His prior experience includes serving as the chief executive officer of Greenview Regional Hospital in Bowling Green, Kentucky and Marshall Medical Center in Lewisburg, Tennessee. In all of his positions as CEO, he was responsible for operations, building physician relationships, and engaging employees at an acute care hospital.

  • Orlando Health Moves Forward with Lakeland Hospital

    Orlando, FL (November 12, 2021) – A new hospital with 136 inpatient beds plus 24 Emergency Department beds is coming to the south side of Lakeland that will soon increase access to high-quality health care for residents in the area’s fast-growing neighborhoods and communities. Orlando Health today announced it will begin to develop its Orlando Health Lakeland Highlands Hospital and associated campus on approximately 80 acres it owns south of the Polk Parkway at Lakeland Highlands Road and the Winter Lake Extension Road. Construction will begin in the late spring of 2022 and the new hospital is expected to be open by fall 2024.

    St. Cloud, FL (June 21, 2021) – Responding to an ever-changing technology ecosystem and the need to ensure patients have a convenient and simple way to stay connected to their medical records and engage with physicians, Orlando Health St. Cloud Hospital has debuted the new Orlando Health MyChart patient portal. Launched on June 19, the free portal gives patients round-the-clock access to all their healthcare information using an App.
