Community Involvement
Caring for Central Florida has been an Orlando Health tradition for nearly 100 years. Each year, our Community Benefit Report highlights our commitment to building a stronger and healthier Central Florida. Through our community outreach efforts, we are able to meet identified health needs, particularly in the vulnerable, uninsured and underserved communities. From screenings, medical research, health fairs, support groups and wellness activities, to educating future physicians, nurses and other health professionals, we are proud to be improving the lives of the individuals and communities we serve. Our nearly 15,000 team members and more than 1,200 hospital and foundation volunteers also fulfill Orlando Health's mission through their participation in year-round programs.

Arnold was said to have commented, “We can do better than this — we should do better than this — for the children of our community.”
