She is excited to pursue her interests in oncology and infectious disease.     Michael Hanna, MD, MS, is a cardiac surgeon with Orlando Health Heart & Vascular Institute. He completed his thoracic surgery residency from Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He trained in all aspects of cardiac surgery including minimally invasive valve surgery, structural heart therapies including Transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) and Mitraclip as well as mechanical support devices such as LVAD and heart transplantation. During that time, he also participated in multiple clinical trials for TAVR and LVAD devices.
