• Rehabilitation Services at Home

  Our rehabilitation services allow you to start therapy or continue rehab after hospital discharge in the comfort of your home. Using an interdisciplinary team approach, we work together to help you meet or exceed your individual rehabilitation goals through every stage of recovery. This medically necessary care is ordered by a physician, and our therapists work closely with your physician to achieve therapy goals. Our rehabilitation services include:

• Is Home Healthcare Right for Me?

  When a patient needs skilled medical care but doesn’t need round-the-clock supervision in a hospital, home healthcare can provide the solution. A serious illness or injury may mean you can’t get to outpatient services but still need intermittent nursing, skilled nursing or therapy care. Skilled nursing means the services require a physician’s order and are provided by a licensed professional.

• Orlando Health launches Hospital Care at Home program

  Orlando, FL (February 9, 2023) Orlando Health launched Hospital Care at Home, a program that provides acute hospital-level care in adult patients’ homes.

• Orlando Health Expanding Services in Seminole County with Planned Medical Office Building

• Orlando Health Cancer Institute Launches Bone Marrow Transplant Services

  Orlando, FL (February 17, 2021) – Cancer patients Kimberly Smythe, 34, and Brita Edlbauer, 70, rang the bell today and are going home less than three weeks after becoming the first patients to receive bone marrow transplants at Orlando Health Cancer Institute. The moment marked a very special occasion for both women in their cancer journey and for Orlando Health’s 100-year history of taking care of the residents of Central Florida.

• Orlando Health expands Hospital Care at Home to serve patients in Osceola and Lake counties

  Orlando, FL (March 18, 2024) Orlando Health has expanded Hospital Care at Home, a program that provides acute hospital-level care in adult patients’ homes, to serve patients in Osceola and Lake counties.  

• Orlando Health and Winter Garden Little League Score Home Run with New Partnership

  Orlando, FL (July 17, 2024) – Orlando Health – Health Central Hospital and Orlando Health Horizon West Hospital are excited to partner with the Winter Garden Little League to help enhance baseball games for the community. Through a new sponsorship, three digital scoreboards have been installed on the fields.

• Orlando Health expands services in Winter Park

  Residents in and around Winter Park will soon be able to access multiple Orlando Health outpatient services with the opening of the Orlando Health Medical Pavilion – Winter Park.

• Orlando Health Network helps save Medicare and commercial insurers almost $20 million in 2020

  Orlando, FL (March 7, 2022) – Now in its tenth year of existence, Orlando Health Network’s accountable care organization (ACO) achieved success once more by saving the federal government’s Medicare Shared Savings Program (MSSP) and other commercial insurers approximately $19.5 million in healthcare costs through meeting quality and cost goals in 2020. The ACO has saved over $153 million since it began.
