    Our rehabilitation services allow you to start therapy or continue rehab after hospital discharge in the comfort of your home. Using an interdisciplinary team approach, we work together to help you meet or exceed your individual rehabilitation goals through every stage of recovery. This medically necessary care is ordered by a physician, and our therapists work closely with your physician to achieve therapy goals. Our rehabilitation services include:

    When a patient needs skilled medical care but doesn’t need round-the-clock supervision in a hospital, home healthcare can provide the solution. A serious illness or injury may mean you can’t get to outpatient services but still need intermittent nursing, skilled nursing or therapy care. Skilled nursing means the services require a physician’s order and are provided by a licensed professional.

  • Orlando Health – Health Central Hospital expanding cardiology services

    Orlando, FL (February 19, 2026) – During American Heart Month, Orlando Health – Health Central Hospital is pleased to announce advanced electrophysiology and arrythmia services will soon be available in the west Orange County community. This comes as board-certified cardiologist and electrophysiologist Karnika Ayinapudi, MD joins the Orlando Health Heart and Vascular Institute. Dr. Ayinapudi specializes in heart rhythm disorders, cardiac ablation procedures, and cardiac device implantation and management.

    Orlando, FL (February 17, 2021) – Cancer patients Kimberly Smythe, 34, and Brita Edlbauer, 70, rang the bell today and are going home less than three weeks after becoming the first patients to receive bone marrow transplants at Orlando Health Cancer Institute. The moment marked a very special occasion for both women in their cancer journey and for Orlando Health’s 100-year history of taking care of the residents of Central Florida.

  • Orlando Health Network helps save Medicare and commercial insurers almost $20 million in 2020

    Orlando, FL (March 7, 2022) – Now in its tenth year of existence, Orlando Health Network’s accountable care organization (ACO) achieved success once more by saving the federal government’s Medicare Shared Savings Program (MSSP) and other commercial insurers approximately $19.5 million in healthcare costs through meeting quality and cost goals in 2020. The ACO has saved over $153 million since it began.
