(February 13, 2025) – The Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg presented by RP Funding announced today a multi-year extension with Orlando Health Bayfront Hospital to continue as the race’s official healthcare partner through 2028. The healthcare organization has served as an integral partner of the annual motorsport event for many years, providing on-site care to both race fans and participants.

• Orlando Health announces new president of Health Central Hospital

  Orlando, FL (April 4, 2016) – Orlando Health has named Mark Marsh, senior vice president, Orlando Health and president, Health Central Hospital. He will begin his new role May 1, replacing Greg Ohe, who was recently named senior vice president of ambulatory services for Orlando Health. Mr. Marsh most recently served as chief executive officer of Gateway Medical Center in Clarksville, Tennessee, a 270-bed acute care hospital. In that position, he was responsible for operations, building physician relationships, and engaging employees.

• West Orange Health District awards $13.8 million grant to Health Central Hospital to Expand

  The West Orange Healthcare District (the District) has awarded a $13.8 million grant to Health Central Hospital to expand. The grant is the second largest in the history of the District and will fund 75 percent of the total expansion costs. Orlando Health will fund the remaining 25 percent. The funds will be used to add 40 rooms to Health Central Hospital, increasing its bed count from 171 to 211 and enabling the further development of specialized care.
