Adaptive Sports

Orlando Health Advanced Rehabilitation Institute is committed to serving our community. Our team members are passionate about serving individuals with disabilities beyond their time in rehab. Our goal is to support health and wellness opportunities by helping individuals get back to activities they enjoy. Through the Orlando Health Foundation Community Grant, we will hold a variety of adaptive sports clinics throughout 2025. The adaptive sports program provides opportunities for individuals to engage in activities modified to their abilities, adapted for physical, cognitive or other limitations.

How it Works

Orlando Health will provide multiple clinics over the course of the year. To participate in an adaptive clinic, the expectation is that:

  • You have medical clearance from your physician to participate in that specific activity
  • If you are under the age of 18, you have parental/guardian consent
  • You pass a safety screening questionnaire provided by an Orlando Health team member
