Dr. Galvao Neto has served as a course director and faculty member in bariatric endoscopy programs for renowned medical and surgical societies, including the International Federation for the Surgery of Obesity (IFSO), American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery (ASMBS), American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ASGE), and Association of Bariatric Endoscopy (ABE). He has been awarded the Surgical Innovator Award by the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery.
