How We Can Help Your Child
Our pediatric rehabilitation specialists, also known as physiatrists, are experts in caring for children who have a wide range of congenital (present at birth) and acquired conditions that cause physical disabilities. We believe a multidisciplinary approach to treatment offers the best outcomes. We collaborate with our other pediatric specialists at Orlando Health Arnold Palmer, as well as physical, occupational and speech-language therapists, to develop a care plan that’s built around your child’s unique condition.
Our Pediatric Physiatry Service now offers inpatient care for children ages 8-12 at the Orlando Health Advanced Rehabilitation Institute. These services support children recovering from chronic illness, surgery, or trauma, providing personalized rehabilitation in a compassionate, state-of-the-art setting. Your dedicated physiatry provider will be with you every step of the way—ensuring continuity of care and support throughout the healing journey.
