Registered and licensed dietitians provide nutrition assessment and care for adult and pediatric patients in an outpatient clinic setting. Dietitians provide education and develop care plans to assist the patient in developing skills to improve nutrition choices at home. The Outpatient Nutritional Services at Orlando Health utilize dietitians and include bariatric surgery, cancer treatment, primary care, high risk obstetrics, prevention and wellness, and pediatric specialties including endocrine, renal, gastrointestinal, pulmonary, feeding difficulties, and community nutrition provided by the Teen Xpress Program.
