When your child has a rheumatic disease, it can be difficult to know where to start. Your child has a disease that is typically associated with older patients, but you need pediatric-centered care.
The Pediatric Rheumatology Program, a partnership between Orlando Health Children's Arnold Palmer Hospital and the University of Florida, provides child-focused treatment for a variety of rheumatic diseases. Our team of doctors will educate your family on how to live with inflammatory conditions that affect your child’s joints, muscles, bones and even internal organs. Your child will learn how to live with chronic rheumatic diseases through the aid of our team of pediatric rheumatology experts.

We are currently contracted with most insurance companies. If you have questions regarding our participation in your network, please call our office.
Except for rare emergencies, we will see you or your child at the time scheduled. If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please call us as soon as possible so that we can offer your appointment time to another patient. If you cancel your appointment less than 24 hours in advance, or do not come at the scheduled appointment time, you will be charged a $25 fee for the missed appointment. Please note that most insurance companies will not reimburse you for missed appointments, and you remain responsible for these charges.
