Lisbeth Mathew

As Director of Rehabilitation at Orlando Health Advanced Rehabilitation Institute, Lisbeth Mathew, OTR/L, provides leadership oversight for multidisciplinary therapy services across the institute’s CARF-accredited Stroke, Brain Injury and Spinal Cord Injury programs, as well as Community Programs and Wellness initiatives. Her role includes oversight of Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech-Language Pathology and Therapeutic Recreation departments, ensuring compliance with CMS, Joint Commission, CARF and facility standards while supporting interdisciplinary coordination of care.

Lisbeth joined Orlando Health Advanced Rehabilitation Institute in December 2022, and leads therapy staffing, scheduling, productivity metrics and quality improvement initiatives focused on outcomes reporting patient care and operations. She also supports community grants and outreach programs, including adaptive sports and fitness clinics and the neuro-friendly restaurant initiative, expanding access to rehabilitation services across the community.

An occupational therapist by training, Lisbeth has almost 30 years of rehabilitation experience and has earned and maintained her PPS certification since 2021. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy from the University of Toronto and is licensed in the state of Florida.
