Pulmonary Rehabilitation

Orlando Health’s comprehensive Lung and Sleep Rehabilitation program is designed to meet the special needs of those living with chronic lung disease. You will be under the care of a rehabilitation healthcare team that includes doctors, nurses, respiratory therapists, physical and occupational therapists, dietitians or nutritionists, and psychologists or social workers. Your team will work with you to develop an individualized plan that includes exercise, education, breathing retraining and behavioral intervention. The pulmonary rehabilitation exercise program lasts 10-12 weeks and can benefit anyone dealing with chronic lung disease.
