    Dr. Zito earned her medical degree from Thomas Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia.  She completed her general surgery residency at The New York Presbyterian Hospital (Cornell) and her trauma/surgical critical care fellowship at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.  She is board-certified in general surgery and surgical critical care and specializes in the treatment of critically ill and injured patients as well as general surgery at the Orlando Health Orlando Regional Medical Center Level One Trauma Center. Dr. Zito oversees the development and preparation of trauma care within our organization and community in order to better serve the Central Florida population.
