Michael Hanna, MD
Michael Hanna, MD, MS, is a cardiac surgeon with Orlando Health Heart & Vascular Institute. He completed his thoracic surgery residency from Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He trained in all aspects of cardiac surgery including minimally invasive valve surgery, structural heart therapies including Transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) and Mitraclip as well as mechanical support devices such as LVAD and heart transplantation. During that time, he also participated in multiple clinical trials for TAVR and LVAD devices.

Principle Teaching Methods
Supervised Direct Patient Care Rounds: Fellows will be involved in initial consultations/ Triage/ admission and subsequent care of patients presenting to ORMC Emergency Room or admitted to ORMC. All fellows are supervised and staffed by full-time faculty pulmonary or critical care specialists.
