Our rigorous sports residency curriculum implements a balanced combination of educational and academic training, along with multiple clinical and on-field opportunities, in conjunction with one-on-one mentoring during live patient care, located at one of our affiliated Orlando Health outpatient clinics. Residents will have the opportunity to work directly with the Orlando City Soccer Club as part of their practical experience, in addition to our numerous local high school affiliations that will allow the resident to develop their skill set within the area of acute injury management.

A level two trauma facility works collaboratively with a level on trauma hospital and provides care that supplements the medical expertise of the level one center. A level two center also provides 24-hour services; however those services only include the essential specialties, personnel and equipment.
