At the Orlando Health Neuroscience Institute, our highly specialized experts treat diseases affecting the brain in our facilities built specifically for neurosciences. We provide education and compassionate care for a diverse range of neurological disorders, including epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, muscular dystrophy and Parkinson’s disease.

Our team includes more than 45 physicians and over 20 advanced care providers who offer next-level treatments and technology tailored to your unique needs. We perform more than 2,000 neurosurgeries a year and conduct multiple clinical trials, so you can feel confident you are getting the best care.

We provide access to the area’s only level one trauma center at Orlando Health Orlando Regional Medical Center. Our partners include the Orlando Health Cancer Institute, allowing us to offer a robust neuro-oncology/brain and spine tumor program.

We also have Central Florida’s only Joint Commission-certified Designated Spine Center of Excellence and only Advanced Comprehensive Stroke Center certification from The Joint Commission.

If you are dealing with a neurological condition, it is important not to wait to seek help. Earlier diagnosis, treatment and management can make an enormous difference in your quality of life.

Your care team will include surgeons who are revolutionizing the quality and efficiency of care for neurosurgery patients in Central Florida. Our complete care approach combines the skills and expertise of neurosurgeons, neurologists, neuropsychologists, interventional pain managers and rehabilitation specialists working together to cover your needs throughout your journey.

Our planned state-of-the-art facility — anticipated to open in early 2024 — will be the new home of Orlando Health Neuroscience Institute, serving patients throughout the southeastern United States. Located on Orlando Health’s downtown campus, the three-story, 45,000-square-foot building will expand our capacity, enabling us to care for more patients while also placing our highly skilled team in one central and convenient location.
