Orlando Health Neuroscience Institute’s outpatient spine clinic is dedicated to providing rapid and highly specialized care for your back and neck pain. If you are experiencing discomfort, your primary care doctor can refer you to our team of compassionate specialists. Our goal is to see patients within one or two days, getting you quick pain relief while avoiding a trip to the emergency room.

Our team uses the latest imaging and diagnostic tools to put you on a treatment path based on your unique condition and needs. You will leave with a referral for an ideal care plan that could include pain management, physical therapy and, in some cases, surgery.

Diagnostics Performed

  • Electromyography (EMG) is a diagnostic test that evaluates the health and function of your skeletal muscles and the nerves that control them.
  • Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) is a type of diagnostic test that can create detailed images of nearly every structure and organ inside the body.
  • An X-ray study (also called a radiograph) is a type of medical imaging (radiology) that creates pictures of your bones and soft tissues, such as organs.

About Spine Health

Your spine is one of the most important parts of your body, providing a central support structure that helps you stand, bend, walk and run. This complex system is made up of bones, muscles, tendons, nerves and other tissues connecting your head, chest, shoulders, arms, pelvis and legs. Unfortunately, these intricate connections can be damaged by a broad range of injuries, disorders and diseases. Eight in 10 people will experience back pain at some point in life. When that occurs, you will want pain relief as quickly as possible.
