Bio
Dr. Kyle Fisk is a board-certified physician with the Supportive and Palliative Care Program at the Orlando Health Cancer Institute. He provides specialized care and support for patients living with a serious illness by:
- Managing symptoms related to an underlying condition or treatment
- Addressing patients’ worries, concerns and spiritual challenges about their illness or treatment
- Initiating conversations about disease status and next steps.
He believes listening to patients helps him provide the best possible care.
Dr. Fisk’s Training
As an undergraduate, Dr. Fisk studied neuroscience at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore. He earned his medical degree from University of Texas Health in San Antonio and completed his residency in internal medicine at Penn State Hershey Medical Center. Dr. Fisk performed his fellowship in hospice and palliative medicine at Orange Park Hospital in Orange Park, Florida.
About Dr. Fisk
Dr. Fisk feels satisfied when he is able to share transformative experiences with his patients and pass his knowledge to patients as well as his colleagues. When he was a medical student in San Antonio, he created and presented collaborative community research projects with students of other disciplines.
He is board certified in internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine and is a member of the American College of Physicians.
Dr. Fisk’s volunteering has included educating the public about anatomy and health, as well as tutoring first- and second-year medical students.
Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family and being a father, exercising and playing board games.
