Orlando Health Jewett Orthopedic Institute Named As Official Medical Team For Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy

Melbourne, FL (December 17, 2025) – Orlando Health Jewett Orthopedic Institute is thrilled to announce a new partnership with Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy in Melbourne, serving as the school’s official medical team.

As part of the agreement, Orlando Health Jewett Orthopedic Institute will provide medical coverage from the sidelines to enhance and protect the health of student athletes during sporting events and practices. Students will also have access to annual sports physicals, as well as streamlined care to the medical team.

Kyle Cox, MD and Hunter Rafoth, MD, who are both based in Melbourne and live in Brevard County, will serve as the team physicians.

"I am very excited to officially be a part of the Holy Trinity family,” said Dr. Cox, a sports medicine surgeon with Orlando Health Jewett Orthopedic Institute. “My wife and her two brothers attended Holy Trinity Academy for junior high and high school. This deep connection to the local community played an essential role in influencing our family’s decision to return to the area. Combined with our office's close proximity to the upper school campus and our collective drive to elevate the quality of sports medicine medical care in Brevard County, this partnership is a match made in heaven.”

“This partnership with Orlando Health is a game changer for Holy Trinity Athletics,” said Holy Trinity Athletic Director James Phillips. “With 44 teams competing across 14 sports, having access to the expertise and care of Orlando Health ensures that our student-athletes receive the very best support when it comes to their health, safety, and performance. We’re incredibly grateful for this collaboration and excited about the positive impact it will have on our entire athletic community.”

The Orlando Health Jewett Orthopedic Institute – Melbourne clinic on Wickham Road is located adjacent to the school. The practice offers non-surgical and surgical orthopedic and sports medicine care, advanced imaging and physical therapy all under one roof.
