Maternal Telehealth Program

To support you during this unique time in your life, Orlando Health Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women and Babies is offering a free telehealth program, in partnership with the Florida Department of Health, to provide additional services during your pregnancy and up to one year postpartum.

About the Program

Once you are enrolled in the program, you will be given a blood pressure cuff and scale to use at home and will be scheduled for your telehealth appointments. During each telehealth visit, our team will help with monitoring your progress and answering any questions you may have. This will involve some personal questions in order to better help you throughout your pregnancy and postpartum journey.

Telehealth visits will cover the following:

  • Review of your physical symptoms, including your blood pressure and weight check, and review of any medications or medical conditions
  • Answering any breastfeeding and newborn care questions you may have
  • Assessment of mental, emotional and psychological symptoms (e.g., Are you experiencing mood swings? Do you have any history of anxiety, depression, eating disorders, etc.?)
  • Discuss any non-medical factors that impact your everyday life, including food, housing, transportation and baby care items

Who Can Enroll

To be considered for this program, you must live in Orange County and be pregnant or in the postpartum period. Postpartum is defined as up to one year after delivery.
