Terrence Carter, MD, FACOG, is a board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist with Orlando Health Physician Associates. Dr. Carter cares for women at every stage of life and sees adolescents through those in their senior years. He provides preventative gynecologic services, family planning, prenatal care and more.
Dr. Carter is experienced with high-risk deliveries and maternal fetal medicine, as well as certified in robotic surgery using the da Vinci® Surgical System.
After earning his bachelor’s degree in biology at Xavier University of Louisiana in New Orleans, Dr. Carter attended Southern Illinois University, School of Medicine in Springfield, where he earned his medical degree and completed a residency in obstetrics and gynecology. He also has a master’s degree in healthcare administration from the University of Central Florida.
Dr. Carter is a fellow of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and member of the American Medical Association, American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons, and Central Florida Medical Society. Additionally, he is a physician volunteer for the Orange County Medical Clinic.
