Jessica Vaught, MD, FACOG

Jessica Vaught, MD, FACOG, is the director of minimally invasive surgery at Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women & Babies. She joined Orlando Health in 2007, and is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology.

Dr. Vaught earned her medical degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine in Ohio, and completed her residency at George Washington University Medical Center in Washington, DC. She then completed her fellowship training at Advanced Laparoscopy and Minimally Invasive Surgery in Bethesda, Maryland.

She specializes in minimally invasive surgery, including robotic surgery with the da Vinci® Surgical System, for many gynecologic conditions. She also serves as an expert reviewer of other doctors performing robotic surgery through the C-SATS performance review and training program.

At the Winnie Palmer Hospital Center for Advanced Gynecology and Minimally Invasive Surgery, Dr. Vaught is able to combine her passion for minimally invasive surgery and comprehensive care for women. Under her leadership, Winnie Palmer Hospital has become a nationally designated Epicenter training site for robotic surgery, and was also named an AAGL Center of Excellence in Minimally Invasive Gynecology. Additionally, Dr. Vaught was recognized in Orlando Business Journal’s 40 under 40 competition, which honors 40 outstanding local business professionals under the age of 40.
