Robert Murrah, M.D.

Dr. Murrah is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon who has practiced in Central Florida for over 20 years. He focuses on joint replacements and sports medicine. He specializes in hip, knee, and shoulder surgery. He joined Orlando Health Physician's Group in July 2011.

Dr. Murrah attended Duke University for college and medical school. After two years of general and thoracic surgery at Duke, he completed orthopedic training in Baltimore at Union Memorial- Johns Hopkins Hospitals. Subsequently, he pursued fellowship training in Sports Medicine at Duke University and Michigan State.

Dr. Murrah is an Expert Medical Advisor for the State of Florida. He is active in a number of professional organizations. He has been recognized by his fellow physicians as one of Central Florida's Best Doctors since 2000, and by Consumer's Research Council as one of "Americas Top Surgeons".
