The Echocardiogram and the Nuclear Medicine Programs at Orlando Health are accredited by the American College of Radiology (ACR). This accreditation is awarded every three years for quality and distinction.

Recognized for Quality by the Society of Thoracic Surgeons

The team of surgeons at Orlando Health has earned the top rating (three stars) by the Society of Thoracic Surgeons. This recognizes our quality and outcomes in cardiothoracic surgery. Orlando Health also received top ratings for coronary artery bypass graft surgery (CABG) and combined aortic valve replacement (AVR) + CABG surgeries.

Recognized for Excellence by the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses

The American Association of Critical-Care Nurses recognizes hospitals that use evidence-based practices to improve both patient and family outcomes. Recognition is for a three-year term. Certification for Ventricular Assist Device

Orlando Health received certification by Diet Norske Veritas (DNV) for its ventricular assist device facility credentialing program. Ventricular assist devices are implanted in the abdomen to help the heart pump blood to the rest of the body.
