The team of surgeons at Orlando Health has earned the top rating (three stars) by the Society of Thoracic Surgeons. This recognizes our quality and outcomes in cardiothoracic surgery. Certification for Ventricular Assist Device
Orlando Health received certification by Diet Norske Veritas (DNV) for its ventricular assist device facility credentialing program. Ventricular assist devices are implanted in the abdomen to help the heart pump blood to the rest of the body.
