Anjali Vyas, MD

Experienced as both a practicing board-certified internal medicine physician and healthcare executive, Dr. Anjali Vyas serves as senior vice president, Orlando Health, and president of Orlando Health Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women and Babies, part of Orlando Health Women’s Institute. In her role, she utilizes her expertise in physician engagement and leadership development, clinical program development, and process improvement and operations focused on optimizing performance.

Previously, Anjali served as physician leader of Orlando Health Physician Associates, which during her tenure saw more than 1.12 million annual outpatient encounters for all specialties including more than 5,000 deliveries by the OB-GYN providers. She also was the physician president of Orlando Health Medical Group women’s service line that encompasses OB hospitalists, urogynecology, maternal fetal medicine, fetal care and the minimally invasive gynecology surgery team.

Anjali began her career as a hospitalist and medical director with Physicians Hospitalist Partners, where she saw patients at Orlando Health facilities. She served as chief medical officer and subsequently interim chief executive officer of Family Physicians Group. Additionally, she served as chief executive officer of one of the first Medicare Shared Savings Program accountable care organizations (FPG Healthcare) in Central Florida.

Anjali earned her undergraduate degree from Rollins College in Orlando and her medical degree from Meharry Medical College in Nashville. Following completion of a residency in internal medicine at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, she pursued an MBA from the University of Florida in Gainesville.
