April Ernst

April Ernst is vice president of Orlando Health Jewett Orthopedic Institute and Orlando Health Neuroscience Institute and chief operating officer of Orlando Health Jewett Orthopedic Institute. In this role, she provides oversight for operations, regional initiatives and strategic priorities to advance growth, strengthen physician partnerships and lead the development and integration of key clinical, educational and operational programs.

Previously, April spent 25 years at Orlando Health Orlando Regional Medical Center, where she held progressive leadership roles, developing deep expertise in hospital operations, physician collaboration and organizational leadership, while consistently advancing quality, performance and growth.

April earned a bachelor’s in cardiopulmonary sciences from the University of Central Florida in Orlando and a master’s from the University of St. Francis in Joliet, Illinois.
