Assistant Vice President, Workforce Optimization and Redesign

A native of Muscle Shoals, Alabama, Darius Love is a nursing leader with extensive operational experience and expertise in leading and assisting teams to achieve highly regarded designations such as comprehensive stroke, acute chest pain and Magnet recognition.

Prior to joining Orlando Health, Darius served as the service line director for neuroscience and oncology at Baptist Medical Center-Jacksonville, where he spearheaded a number of care model innovation projects. He began his career as a neuroscience nurse at the University of Alabama Hospital in Birmingham.

Darius earned a bachelor's degree in nursing from the University of North Alabama, a master's degree in health administration from the University of St. Francis and a doctorate in nursing practice from the University of New Hampshire. He is a member of the American Organization for Nursing Leadership.
