Frank Thomas

As president of Baptist Health Citizens Hospital, Frank Thomas is responsible for leading all aspects of hospital operations to achieve organizational goals. Under his leadership, Baptist Health Citizens has undergone capital investments that have improved the quality of care for patients in Talladega, including the renovation and remodeling of the Baptist Health Citizens medical office building.

Frank began his career with Baptist Health in 1984 and has served in key administrative roles across the system, including director of clinical systems, executive director of operations at Baptist Health Citizens and chief operating officer of Baptist Health Shelby Hospital.

Frank earned a bachelor’s degree in laboratory technology from Auburn University and an MBA from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
