Holly Dean

President, Baptist Health Shelby Hospital

Holly Dean is the president of Baptist Health Shelby Hospital, where she is responsible for leading all aspects of hospital operations and monitoring of quality care to achieve organizational goals. Under her leadership, Baptist Health Shelby has significantly expanded its capabilities to care for the community it serves, with considerable investments in robotic surgery, catheter lab renovations and advanced medical technology.

Prior to her current role, Holly served as chief operating officer of Gulf Coast Hospital in Panama City, Florida. Previous administrative roles also included positions at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center in Baltimore, Shands Hospital at the University of Florida in Gainesville and Trinity Hospital in Pasco County, Florida.

Holly earned a bachelor’s in healthcare administration from Auburn University and an MBA from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
