Assistant Vice President, Orlando Health; Chief Nursing Officer, Orlando Health Watson Clinic Lakeland Highlands Hospital

As chief nursing officer of the soon-to-open Orlando Health Watson Clinic Lakeland Highlands Hospital, Jennifer Beakley oversees nursing operations, advances nursing practice and drives excellence in patient care.

Since starting her career as a nurse at Orlando Health in 2002, Jennifer has held progressive leadership roles, most recently as chief nursing officer at Orlando Health Jewett Orthopedic Institute where she was responsible for driving quality patient metrics and advancing clinical practices across the institute. Previous roles include patient care administrator at Orlando Health Orlando Regional Medical Center and leading critical care, dialysis, neuroscience and oncology programs. She also assisted in launching a bone marrow transplant program.

Jennifer earned a master’s degree in nursing from the University of Central Florida and a doctorate in nursing practice from Chamberlain University. She is a member of the American Organization for Nursing Leadership and the Florida Organization for Nursing Leadership. She also is a nurse executive board-certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
