Jim Murray, MBA, FACHE

Jim Murray is responsible for overseeing the strategic development and day-to-day operations of the medical group’s hospital-based programs. In his role, Jim leads activities, processes and policies that support the providers and other clinical teams in delivering high-quality patient care with a focus on improved patient satisfaction, volume growth, quality, safety and efficiency.

An experienced leader in healthcare administration, Murray has held leadership roles within multi-hospital health systems in California, Tennessee, and Texas. Most recently, he served as vice president and chief operating officer at Memorial Hermann Greater Heights Hospital in Houston and, prior to that, at Dominican Hospital in Santa Cruz, California.

Jim earned both a bachelor’s degree in engineering technology and an MBA at East Tennessee State University in Johnson City, Tennessee. He is a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives.
