John Mahalek

Assistant Vice President, Orlando Health Medical Group

John Mahalek is assistant vice president for Orlando Health Medical Group, overseeing operations of the group’s anesthesia division for the system and supporting perioperative services at Orlando Health Jewett Orthopedic Institute.

John most recently served as administrator of perioperative and anesthesia services at Orlando Health Jewett Orthopedic Institute, where he assisted in the planning and opening of the institute, as well as in implementing an employed anesthesia group.

Previously, he served as nursing operations manager and assistant manager of surgery for Orlando Health Orlando Regional Medical Center for 17 years. John earned an MBA and a bachelor’s in nursing from Western Governors University.
