Joshua Montemayor

With nearly two decades of healthcare leadership experience, Josh oversees hospital operations for Orlando Health Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women and Babies and guides the development of high-quality programs and services to meet the needs of patients, physicians and team members. With a strong foundation in both leadership and clinical practice, his diverse frontline experiences helped to shape his deep understanding of patient care and clinical operations.

Josh most recently served as vice president of risk, claims and insurance and, since joining Orlando Health in 2018, has led key initiatives across clinical risk, malpractice claims management, physician quality, and the organization’s insurance program. Over the past decade, Josh has focused his career on patient safety and risk management, developing a reputation for thoughtful leadership and strategic insight.

Josh earned his bachelor’s in nursing from the University of Central Florida in Orlando and an MBA from the University of Phoenix. His clinical background includes respiratory therapy and nursing experience in invasive cardiology, orthopedics, neurology, open-heart ICU and flight medicine.
