Omar Gonzalez

As vice president of Orlando Health’s Puerto Rico/Caribbean Region, Omar Gonzalez is responsible for strategic development, operational performance and organizational success within the region.

Omar joined Orlando Health in 2008 and has held progressive leadership positions in information technology services and clinical engineering. He has served as assistant vice president of Technology Strategy and Design and regional business relationship manager, overseeing Orlando Health regions beyond Central Florida.

After earning an undergraduate degree in social sciences at Inter American University of Puerto Rico, Omar earned an MBA from Strayer University in Orlando. He also received a master’s degree in digital journalism and design from the University of South Florida and earned several business certifications in the IT field.
