Pedro Blanco is vice president of Orlando Health’s Puerto Rico/Caribbean Region. In this role, he is responsible for strategic development, operational performance and organizational success within the region, while building relationships with hospitals, physicians, community leaders and team members.

Pedro also serves as vice president of Doctors’ Center Hospital Orlando Health in Puerto Rico, where he oversees strategic planning and marketing, manages the Orlando Health partnership, and leads the development of ambulatory services and physician recruitment efforts.

With over 16 years of experience in hospital administration, Pedro has extensive expertise in project development, operations, and strategic planning. Starting as assistant director of operations in 2009, Pedro advanced to director of operations, where he led safety and facilities initiatives and ensured regulatory compliance across the organization.

Pedro earned an MBA from Universidad Ana G. Méndez and is a board member of Fundación Pedro Blanco Lugo and the Puerto Rico International Piano Festival.
