Richard Baum

Rich Baum is the vice president, corporate controller for Orlando Health, where he is responsible for accounting, accounts payable, payroll, cash and debt management.

Prior to joining Orlando Health, Rich gained 30 years of experience in strategy, operations, finance and leadership, most recently serving as vice president of treasury operations at Unified Women’s Healthcare, a provider practice management company in 26 states. Previously, he held financial leadership roles with the University of Miami Health System, Pinnacle Health System in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, and NYU Langone Medical Center in New York. Rich has worked as an independent financial consultant for Penn Medicine Princeton Health, and he began his career at Ernst & Young in New Jersey.

Rich earned a bachelor’s degree from Montclair State College in New Jersey and is a licensed certified public accountant and certified healthcare financial professional. He is a member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
