Ron Gicca

President, Orlando Health Melbourne Hospital

Since 2015, Ron Gicca has served as president of Orlando Health Melbourne Hospital, overseeing operations of the 119-bed, acute care facility on Brevard County’s Space Coast.

With nearly two decades of hospital leadership experience, Ron has driven strategic initiatives focused on recruitment and service growth, resulting in multiple facility expansions. During his tenure, Orlando Health Melbourne has achieved significant regulatory milestones and quality designations, earning ‘A’ grades in patient safety from The Leapfrog Group, securing disease-specific care certifications in stroke and spine care from The Joint Commission and receiving high-performing regional rankings in back surgery and hip replacement from U.S. News & World Report.

Ron previously served as chief operating officer of Orlando Health Sebastian River Hospital. He earned both his bachelor’s degree and a master’s in health administration from the University of Florida in Gainesville.
