Dr. Salvador N. Lanza serves as president of Orlando Health Heart and Vascular Institute, where he is responsible for the strategic direction, clinical alignment and operational performance of cardiovascular services across the health system.

With more than 40 years of experience in cardiology, Dr. Lanza has served in clinical practice and academic settings, supporting the development and coordination of cardiovascular programs.

Dr. Lanza earned his medical degree from the University of Miami in Florida and completed his internal medicine residency and cardiology fellowship at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York. He is triple board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease and nuclear cardiology.

In addition to his clinical and leadership roles, Dr. Lanza has served as a clinical associate professor in the Department of Health Sciences at the University of Central Florida. He is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology and the American College of Physicians.
